The camera shifts as the show opens to what looks more or less like a news set, with a brown-haired, green-eyed man in his thirties sitting at a desk with a sheaf of papers. The man looks up at the camera and smiles wide.
Cody Rivers: "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, I'm Cody Rivers here with Total Advantage Wrestling's first edition of the Rivers Report. I'm here to catch you up on everything that's happened in the last week of TAW."
A screen behind Rivers lights up and shows:
Logan Grimnar gets on the top turnbuckle with a jump and raises his fists to the sky holding them together
and leaps toward Orcus quickly lowering them, performing a strong Double Axe Handle!!
ORCUS IS BUSTED WIDE OPEN!!!
The camera cuts to later in the match:
Orcus grabs Logan Grimnar's arms and legs making lever on them
stretching Logan Grimnar performing a light Mexican Stretch!!
Orcus keeps his weak submission hold
Logan Grimnar can't resist anymore and taps out!!
Cody Rivers: "In a surprising turnaround newcomer Orcus managed to force Logan Grimnar to tap out despite the fact that Orcus was bleeding all over the mat. Look for Orcus tonight against fellow newcomer Miss Trouble. Grimnar will also be facing off against one of our female wrestlers in the form of Jeanne."
The screen shifts and shows:
Suddenly, as Rajiv "The Rapping Kid" Ratan is celebrating his victory, Submachine appears at the top of the ramp and starts running down it, holding a steel chair in his hands.
It's too late! Submachine nails Rajiv "The Rapping Kid" Ratan in the back of the head with a devastating chair shot!
Cody Rivers: "Rajiv 'The Rapping Kid' Ratan pulled out a win over pires123, only to be attacked from behind by Legends of Pain Entertainment wrestler Submachine with a chair. This was to be the first of a series of skirmishes between LPE and TAW wrestlers for the evening, and resulted in Vice GM Strife declaring several matches between the two rosters, including one between himself and Submachine, which he won. Rajiv has been approved by the trainers to wrestle tonight, and we'll be seeing him in a Single fall match against Otherwise et al."
The screen displays the images of boaby_phet, Big Bill, Captain Canada, and Death man.
Cody Rivers: "Total Advantage dominated all of its matches against the invading LPE brand last week, but perhaps the most controversial victory occured when a Total Advantage judge declared TAW's Captain Canada and Death man the winners of their tag match against Boaby Phet and Big Bill. This infuriated Boaby and Bill, along with many LPE fans, and so GM Strife has agreed to schedule a rematch for them on tonight's show."
The screen switches to another set of footage:
Souless reaches for a rope and grabs it!!
Green Eyed Monster releases his grasp
Green Eyed Monster tries a pinning maneuver
Referee starts counting...
....1....
....2....
....3....
Suddenly, the referee is hit from behind with a HardCore sledgehammer shot!
It's Had Stone!
Had Stone moves to strike Green Eyed Monster with the sledgehammer
but suddenly Moos takes him down from behind with a devastating bulldog off of the top rope!
Big Bill rushes into the ring from the sidelines
and runs across the mat, hitting Moos with a violent Clothesline!
Gryth slides in under the bottom rope
and trips Big Bill down to the mat to lock in a ripping Ankle Lock!
FarWestico climbs into the ring and runs toward Gryth
and hits him with a Mortal chair shot to the face!
Silentwolf and Death Man run into the ring!
Submachine and boaby_phet climb into the ring opposite them!
The four wrestlers engage each other in an exciting test of strength
The referee pulls himself together and looks around
and declares the match a NO CONTEST!
Cody Rivers: "As you can see from this footage, the main event of last week's show ended with a climactic clash between the invading members of the LPE roster and TAW's own wrestlers. And the status of the Extreme title match for tonight is still undecided - will Had Stone be able to recover from the brutal attack he suffered on Saturday's edition of LPE? The camera pans out and the LPE logo fills the screen as "Believe" by Breaking Benjamin begins to play, signalling the start of the show.
